In the first I-1 GS, 4 world-class middleweight world title holders will participate in a 4-men elimination tournament. The last man standing will be crowned the I-1 GS World Champion.
Fighters having taken part in the previous “I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix” will be back to participate in super fights in this event, to show their world-class skills again.
The I-1 GS will also provide the opportunity for local gifted Muaythai fighters to show their talents to the public. In the long run, they will be encouraged to move on to the world-class levels.

To organize I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix 2007 (hereafter refer to as I-1) to be held in Queen Elizabeth Stadium in 30 April 2007.
" I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix" is a brand new phenomenon in Hong Kong for Muaythai boxing competition because it is refreshingly different from other normal Muaythai programs nowadays. I-1 is originated from the revolutionized idea. It is utilized as an emblem of new Muaythai phenomenon.

There are many points make I-1 colorfully interesting to follow up.
Firstly, I-1 wisely permits all boxers around the world who have competent skills in the art of Muaythai to fight. This also helps promote Hong Kong’s athletes into worldwide awareness. However, boxers who can join I-1 are elaborately selected to make sure that they can fight well and also attract audiences.
Secondly, boxers will be grouped into two divisions. Boxers in each group fight each other to find the best in their division. (Fighters who lose are unqualified to fight next round; which means that there is merely strongest and most technical boxers can pass to final cut.). Then the best of each group will contend in the final cut. To do so, it makes the game more amusing. Audiences do not have to wait so long to know who the winner is because the paste of the matches is rapid.
Finally, the ultimate winner will be granted the world title.
Style of the program
8 boxers from eight different countries.
I-1 is a live show that guarantees the audiences with thrilling matches of many skillful boxers all around the world. Merely the bravest, hardest and strongest could be selected to join the show.
Moreover, I-1 has a great team of experienced commentators/ masters of ceremony, bringing entertainment, in additional to the matches, to the audience.
The prestige of the event has attracted top fighters over the world
It will be the third grand event for I-1.
We will have the champion from 2005 Rudolf Durica as well as 2006 champion Andrei Kulebin.
Besides, the above fighters, we also have the Killer Machine Santichai from Thailand. Moreover, there is Iran fighter Abbas who have a great progress in Thailand. We are proud to introduce fighter from Ukraine Denise Varaxa, the current Ukraine Champion . Our friend from South Africa Deniel Mashamaite, showing “diamond” hard body. We would like to announce the champion fighter come from Cambodia Chawan Dasri with 140 fights, previously competing in “bare-hands” combat. Finally, I-1 will present to you a mysterious fighter that will surprise both the fighters and audience.
In addition, there will be two MAD matches. One consisting Hong Kong vs Hong Kong fighters, and the other China vs Japan fighters. Then, there are two MAD Super Fights. Two local Hong Kong Current Champion defending their titles.
